The kennel did all the usual steps–searching the area, putting up flyers, calling the Humane Society.
When we found out about it, my daughter and I started a concentrated social media campaign–posting his information on Facebook and Nextdoor, using Home Again to post an alert, and reaching out to dog rescue groups via Meetup and other options.
The woman who found Mocha posted about him on her local Nextdoor. Someone who saw both sets of postings put 2+2 together and we have him back, no worse for the wear.
