Amy’s Kitchen, the company that makes a popular variety of vegetarian organic frozen foods, has just opened a vegetarian drive-through fast food restaurant north of San Francisco.
Organic and fast food don’t seem to go together. However, Amy’s decided if there was a strong market for their frozen foods, why not fresh foods as well?
The initial reaction has been outstanding–long lines of people waiting to try this new fast food option. It’s too soon to tell whether the concept will last, and whether Amy’s will be able to scale their operation to open multiple outlets. But for now, they’re off to a running start.
What new angle can your business take to turn an existing concept into a fresh new exciting idea?
