My house was built in the late 1980s, before it was common practice to install recessed ceiling lights in most rooms. As a result, we relied on lamps to light the house, which was less than ideal.
This week, I had an electrician install recessed lights in the bedrooms, family room, and office. What a difference! Not only can I see better at night, but the rooms look totally different when they’re well-lighted. In the process, I was also able to remove 5 lamps and 6 power strips, while significantly lowering my electric costs.
